Back when Martino and I were calling ourselves Emience (before we knew there were, like, 3 other Eminences) we made this song with talented Canadian vocalist Adrianna Taylor. Harley & Muscle delivered a particularly deep rendition for this EP.
Cover picture here is from the original Soulstream release. We sold it to Harley & Muscle a few months later and pulled the original.
My second record for Soulstream Records was a full vocal with then-new singer Miss Yoliswa Chisholm. Making heavy layered, lush use of the Alesis Ion (my VA synth at the time before the real analogs were acquired), this release was bolstered by killer remixes from Jon Cutler and Martino working together.
Today we feature my first record I ever got signed to another label, Always Be Your Lady (as sung by the lovely and highly talented Syreeta Neal). Released by the eternally deep Harley & Muscle, featured here is the most popular remix of it provided by Mr. John Dahlback…I’m counting over 15,000 YouTube views amongst all the uploaded versions if it! Available as always at Traxsource.
In our first project together (and our first record for Harley & Muscle), Martino and I set out to show the world we thought more of deep house than “just dance music”, and set out to write some heavy lyrics for the song which were expertly delivered by Syreeta Neal. Featured here is the wildly popular Island Groove remix by Stefano Baldetti.
